BETHLEHEM, by HARRY WEBB FARRINGTONPoet's Biography
First Line: I shall not tarry over scrolls Last Line: A savior for my hungry heart. Subject(s): Bethlehem, Palestine
I shall not tarry over scrolls That chart the planets of the night; Nor follow paths of endless goals, The ordered orbs of Heaven's light; Nor shall I halt with sense and mind At palace, porch or merchant's mart: My caravan shall press to find A Savior for my hungry heart.
