Like a pool of sunny sea, Capped with waves of sudsy glee. Soap and dishes mixing in, The rally of their master's whim. Swishing merrily to and fro, Up and down the dishes go. In a jolly game of tag, All around the busy rag. Like a line of clean white clothes, Shining, gleaming in their rows. On the rack the dishes stand, Waiting for the dryer's hand. Trimmed in rims of red and blue, Teacups, plates, and saucers too. Looking quite their very best, On the shelf they'll come to rest.
