ON AN OLD WOMAN by LUCILIUS

First Line: MYCILLA DYES HER LOCKS, 'TIS SAID
Last Line: NO SUBSEQUENT IMMERSION.
Subject(s): OLD AGE; WOMEN;

MYCILLA dyes her locks, 'tis said;
But 'tis a foul aspersion:
She buys them black; they therefore need
No subsequent immersion.
