RIDE NOT TOO FAST WITH BEAUTY by ELSIE TWINING ABBOTT

Last Line: FROM ITS CHAIN.
Subject(s): EARTH; PAIN; WORLD; SUFFERING; MISERY;

Ride not too fast with Beauty,
Feel the rein,
For he is winged and may not
Turn again
To this old world of duty
And of pain --
Sad world, so slowly breaking
From its chain.
