THE MOTH by ABU YAHYA

First Line: THE MOTH A MERRY CAPER
Last Line: UPON THE CARPET, DEAD.
Subject(s): MOTHS;

The moth a merry caper
Around my flagon turned,
Supposing it a taper
That in the shadows burned.

With beating wings he hung him
About the flame I shed,
Until the flagon flung him
Upon the carpet, dead.
