THE TREES by AL-HUSRI

First Line: A TWISTING CURL
Last Line: TO FAITH'S WHITE FACE.

A twisting curl
Hung down, to hurl
My heart of bliss
To the abyss.

The sable tress
Of faithlessness
Lent deadly grace
To faith's white face.
