THE HANDSOME KNIGHT by MUHAMMAD AL-MU'TAMID II

First Line: AND WHEN, ACCOUTRED IN YOUR MAIL
Last Line: ITS RADIANCE TO SHROUD.

And when, accoutred in your mail
And with your helmet for a veil
That hid your beauty from the day,
You charged into the fray,

We deemed your countenance to be
The noonday sun, now suddenly
Occluded by an amber cloud
Its radiance to shroud.
