A PLEA by WILLIAM ALLEN

First Line: PRETTY STAR / STAY WHERE YOU ARE
Last Line: YOU FILL ME WITH DELIGHT.
Subject(s): VIOLENCE; WAR; WORLD WAR II; WORLD WAR II - ATROCITIES; SECOND WORLD WAR;

Pretty star
Stay where you are,
And spread your silver light.

Golden moon,
You leave too soon.
Make silver all the night.

Maple trees,
Rock in the breeze
Your white leaves showing bright.

Rosemary, dear,
Rest right here.
You fill me with delight.
