LET ME FORGET by OMA CARLYLE ANDERSON

Last Line: FORGETTING THE SCARS.
Subject(s): VICTORY;

Let me forget how quickly
Twilight gathers
When days are done,
Let me forget the cold,
Gray rain a bitter wind brings,
Let me forget how shadows
Sometimes cover
The staying stars.
But let me remember forever
The little victories --
Forgetting the scars.
