DECEMBER by ELIZABETH V. AUVACHE

First Line: DECEMBER DAYS ARE DARK AND GRAY
Last Line: ROUND THE BRIGHT AND CHEERY BLAZE.
Subject(s): CHRISTMAS; COLD; DECEMBER; NATIVITY, THE;

December days are dark and gray,
Ending with the year's last day;
Christmas Day is almost here,
Eager children everywhere.
Men in the woods big trees are chopping,
Better finish your Christmas shopping.
Everyone gathers these chilly days,
Round the bright and cheery blaze.
