THE FLORIDA ORANGE by W. C. BAUGH

First Line: TREE GOLD, SUN GOLD
Last Line: FLOWERLAND'S FEAST OF HEALTH.
Subject(s): ORANGES;

Tree gold, sun gold,
From earth and light distilled,
Swinging goblets
With richest nectar filled.

Artist leafage
In dark and shaded green,
Dancing, refulgent
In sun and Luna's sheen.

Fleeting fragrance
On waking springtime breeze,
Dreamy, alluring
For love-mad maids and bees

Tree gold, sun gold,
Romance and art and wealth,
Earth-born sun-child,
Flowerland's feast of health.
