VIA LUCIS by CHARLES GRANGER BLANDEN

First Line: IF EVER I DIG OUT
Last Line: "TRUTH WALKS THE PRIESTLY WAY."
Subject(s): FAITH; BELIEF; CREED;

If ever I dig out
Into the upper air—
Through dogma, creed and doubt—
I'll surely find Him there.

But ever as I mount,
I hear some wise one say:
"Your striving does not count;
Truth walks the priestly way."
