WHERE IS ARCADY? by HARRY RANDOLPH BLYTHE

Last Line: "WILL YOU GO NOW, PRETTY MAID?"
Subject(s): FAREWELL; HEARTS; LOVE; PARTING;

"WHERE, oh, where is Arcady?
By the ever-sounding sea,
In the valleys by the rills,
Or upon the silent hills?"

"Where, oh, where is Arcady?"
Asked a pretty maid of me;
"I will leave my father's home
Over Arcady to roam."

"Seek you, lass, for Arcady?
I have solved its mystery;
Cupid is the king who reigns
Throughout Arcady's domains.

"And to find it you must be
Cupid's faithful devotee;
Is your heart still unafraid, —
Will you go now, pretty maid?"
