HINC LACHRIMAE; OR THE AUTHOR TO AURORA: 35 by WILLIAM BOSWORTH

First Line: BUT STAY, COMPLAINTS, RETURN UNTO YOUR OWNER
Last Line: AND THERE REWARD HER INHUMANITY.
Subject(s): LOVE - COMPLAINTS;

But stay, Complaints, return unto your owner,
And blame her not; she's free from any blame;
There can no spotted scandal rest on her:
'Tis your presumption, and it is your shame.
But say again, although you are unfit
To kiss her ears, yet you'll take no denial,
And that you'll not her plighted troth remit,
But will remit it to a further trial,
Even to his doom, who will all things destroy,
And there reward her inhumanity.
