GOD'S HUMOR by GAMALIEL BRADFORD

First Line: I'M A LITTLE BIT PERPLEXED
Last Line: COMFORTINGLY BETTER.

I'm a little bit perplexed
Over God and me.
Is he likely to be vexed
At my levity?

I imagine him at least
So immensely kind
That my worship patched and pieced
Will not be declined.

Sense of humour large as his
Cannot hug the letter.
If it does, then mine is
Comfortingly better.
