CAUTION by FRANCES BROWN (20TH CENTURY)

First Line: WHEN YOU LOVE, LOVE THESE ALONE
Last Line: SECURE IN INSECURITY.
Subject(s): HEARTS; LOVE; NATURE;

When you love, love these alone:
Flight of bird and fall of stone.

Take into your heart to keep
Drift of cloud and fishes' leap.

Cry the trail of things that pass
Fleet as waves on windy grass.

Let your heart a vagrant be,
Secure in insecurity.
