Many have wealth and yet are poor, But what of the world have I? I've a wealth of roses round my door, I'm rich and you wonder why. I've a patch of grass that's a velvet green, It is washed by the rain and dew, I've a lot of birds that sing in my trees, And a rainbow garden too! Tho many have more of the world than I, I've more than I really need, For some have nothing of trees and flowers, While to me they are friends indeed.
