MUSINGS by MICHAEL J. CAMPIONE

First Line: HAVE EVER YOU SAT BY A MIDNIGHT SHORE
Last Line: WERE ALWAYS, AND WILL ALWAYS BE?
Subject(s): SEASHORE; WATER; WAVES; BEACH; COAST; SHORE;

Have ever you sat by a midnight shore,
'Neath twinkling gems by watery lore,
With naught but the tide with a vengeance returned,
To batter the shores it earlier spurned?

Have you ever sat spellbound and entranced
While moonbeams o'er ripples so gracefully danced
In simmering motion to rippling waves,
A taunt to those in their watery graves?

Have ever you thought it ever was so,
That man has come and man will go?
That earth and sky and wind and sea
Were always, and will always be?
