TOWARDS DEMOCRACY: PART 3. THE GREAT LEADER by EDWARD CARPENTER

First Line: I USE MY NAME AND POWERS, I USE MY GREAT PRESTIGE
Last Line: EXCEPT AS THINGS TO BE DESTROYED IN USING.
Subject(s): LEADERSHIP;

I USE my name and powers, I use my great prestige,
As a joiner uses a tool: they serve my purpose well
Nevertheless think not that I regard them
Except as things to be destroyed in using.
