JANUARY TREASURE by LESTER CLARK

First Line: ICY WATER FLOWING BETWEEN SNOW-CLAD HILLS
Last Line: A SAPPHIRED JANUARY TREASURE.
Subject(s): JANUARY;

Icy water flowing between snow-clad hills
Sings a tinkling mid-winter song
While glazed trees stand stiff at attention
As the sun plays with the silent throng.
Along the blue terrain are massed displays,
A picture of quiet and leisure
That floods the sparkling stream with blue
A sapphired January treasure.
