INVITATION AFTER PULLING DOWN AND REBUILDING A HOUSE by CAROLINE CLIVE

First Line: OLD GHOSTS, YE ALL ARE DISPOSSESS'D
Last Line: YOU SOON SHALL HAVE COMPANION GHOSTS.
Subject(s): GHOSTS; SUPERNATURAL;

OLD Ghosts, ye all are dispossess'd,
Your former house is levell'd now;
Another house at my behest
Has lifted over yours, its brow.

But flit, old Ghosts, and live with me;
As yet we are but living hosts;
But watch the new house patiently,
You soon shall have companion Ghosts.
