CARE NOT FOR KEYS by ANNA BUNSTON DE BARY

First Line: CARE NOT FOR KEYS: NO STRANGER CAN INTRUDE
Last Line: BUT NEVER TONGUE OF MAN TO MORTAL EAR.
Subject(s): GRIEF; MORTALITY; SORROW; SADNESS;

CARE not for keys: no stranger can intrude
To scan the parchments of a private grief,
Nor shall thy best and nearest interfere.
The wave may whisper to the darkling wood,
The wind betray thee to the hunted leaf
But never tongue of man to mortal ear.
