SONG by ANNA BUNSTON DE BARY

First Line: BLAME THE CUCKOO THAT IN JUNE
Last Line: IF LOVE SHOULD END AS LOVE BEGAN.
Subject(s): KISSES; LOVE;

BLAME the cuckoo that in June
He cannot sing the April tune;

Blame the flowers that at night
The brightest is but pearly white;

The earth that cannot keep till noon
The kisses gathered from the moon,

But never blame thy fellow man
If love should end as love began.
