SOLITUDE by EDWIN E. DEAL

First Line: HOW RARE THE SOLITUDE-HOUR!
Last Line: MY WHISPERINGS SWEET AND TRUE -- SWEET YOU!
Subject(s): CONSOLATION; SILENCE; SOLITUDE; LONELINESS;

How rare the Solitude-hour!
How sweet as the garden flower!
Solitude, sweet solitude divine,
Come, my soul, console, thy heart be mine.

Oh, should this Solitude be mine;
Give me, oh, give me some one who
I may whisper to and who wilt find
My whisperings sweet and true -- sweet you!
