IN TUSCANY: STRAMBOTTI: 1 by CORA RANDALL FABBRI

First Line: O WIND, THAT HATH MY STARS, COME BACK TO ME
Last Line: AND WHAT IS LOST THEREIN SHALL RISE NO MORE.

O Wind, that hath my stars, come back to me,
And place them in my heart as once before.
O dove-white Peace, give back, give back the key,
That I may thus unlock thy fast-closed door.
O Love, why art thou like a bitter sea,
Casting thy bitter weeds upon my shore?
O Stars, the wind hath drowned thee in that sea,
And what is lost therein shall rise no more.
