SNOW SOLACE by REBECCA FUSFELD

First Line: A CLEAN WIND USHERS THE NEW YEAR IN
Last Line: A NEWLY-MADE BRIDAL SHROUD.
Subject(s): HOLIDAYS; NEW YEAR; SNOW; WINTER;

A clean wind ushers the New Year in,
Then races a dubious cloud
To shield with feathery, chastened flakes
A newly-made bridal shroud.
