THE POEMS OF COLD MOUNTAIN: 76 by HAN SHAN

First Line: THEY DON'T WALK THE NOBLE PATH
Last Line: HOW WILL THEY DEAL WITH DISASTER
Subject(s): CHINESE LITERATURE; DECEPTION; PUNISHMENT; VIRTUE;

They don't walk the Noble Path
they say they believe as they go astray
their tongues don't stop before buddhas
their hearts overflow with envy
in private they eat fish and meat
in public they chant @3O-mi-to-fo@1
if this is how they cultivate
how will they deal with disaster
