THE POEMS OF PICKUP: 5 by HAN SHAN

First Line: I LIVE IN A PLACE WITHOUT LIMITS
Last Line: IT WOULDN'T MEAN MUCH TO ME
Subject(s): CHINESE LITERATURE; IDLENESS; QUIET LIFE; LAZINESS; SLOTH; INDOLENCE;

I live in a place without limits
surrounded by effortless truth
sometimes I climb Nirvana Peak
or play in Sandalwood Temple
but most of the time I relax
and speak of neither profit nor fame
even if the sea became a mulberry grove
it wouldn't mean much to me
