CHARADE: 8 by FRANCES RIDLEY HAVERGAL

First Line: SOON THE HOUR OF DAWN SHALL PASS
Last Line: SWEETNESS TO THEIR BREATH IS LENDING.
Subject(s): HAREBELLS;

SOON the hour of dawn shall pass,
Clear and loud the lark is singing;
Swiftly through the waving grass
Now my bright-eyed @3first@1 is springing.

Down the still and shadowy dale
Floats my @3second,@1 sweetly telling,
Morning lifts her misty veil,
Spectral darkness soon dispelling.'

Far remote from beaten way,
Now my dewy @3whole@1 is bending;
And where summer breezes play
Sweetness to their breath is lending.
