CHARADE: 9 by FRANCES RIDLEY HAVERGAL

First Line: DISTANT FROM THE NOISY TOWN
Last Line: THIS SHALL MAKE HIS THIRD REJOICE.
Subject(s): PARSONAGES;

DISTANT from the noisy town
Sits my @3first@1 and @3next@1 alone,
In my ivy-wreathen @3whole,@1
Loved and blessed by many a soul.

More than on my @3first,@1 I ween,
With his brethren he hath been;
But my @3third@1 hath touched his brow,
And he waits in silence now;

Hoipng soon to see the day
When his @3second,@1 far away,
May replace his trembling voice:
This shall make his @3third@1 rejoice.
