EXILES by WILLIAM HAMILTON HAYNE

First Line: HOPES GRIMLY BANISHED FROM THE HEART
Last Line: A BLEAK SIBERIA OF THE SOUL.

HOPES grimly banished from the heart
Are the sad exiles that depart
To melancholy's rayless goal, --
A bleak Siberia of the soul.
