She's in a Gypsy skirt. I'm in the decline of life. I drag Achilles by the foot. She's making copper deals. I'm dealing in shipwrecks. She rides a Monet racehorce. I ride a da Vinci cackling hag. She's unsurpassable. I'm passing by in the wink of an eye. I put up with the artificial melody of traffic. She makes traffic stop with her Carmen Miranda smile. We are fauve figures light as a bebop note -- made for each other on the run. I dance her water lilies till I stop. She sings my peonies till night.
