"Is it well with Henri and Jean and Paul?"
An old bent man to a mother said,
As they met at morn by a little stall
Where the baker sold them their loaves of bread.

"Is it well with Henri and Jean and Paul?"
And the mother bowed as beneath a rod;
Then she answered, "Aye, it is well with them all,
Well with them all—they are all with God!"
