THE CREATION by EDWARD ROWLAND SILL

First Line: A FOUNTAIN RUSHETH UPWARD FROM GOD'S THRONE
Last Line: LIKE GLEAMS AND SHADOWS SWIFTLY GLANCE AND GO.

A FOUNTAIN rusheth upward from God's throne;
Its streaming stem we name Eternal Power:
Its tossing drops are worlds, that spin and fall,
While on their spheres our little human lives
Like gleams and shadows swiftly glance and go.
