EASTER by JOHN BANISTER TABB

First Line: LIKE A METEOR, LARGE AND BRIGHT
Last Line: FLOWER OF EASTER MORN.
Subject(s): EASTER; HOLIDAYS; THE RESURRECTION;

LIKE a meteor, large and bright,
Fell a golden seed of light
On the field of Christmas night
When the Babe was born;
Then't was sepulchred in gloom
Till above His holy tomb
Flashed its everlasting bloom --
Flower of Easter morn.
