PRAISE OF FAMOUS MEN: 6. ANDREW LANG by HUMBERT WOLFE

First Line: THEN, AS YELLOW, GREEN, AND GREY, / SILVER, BROWN, AND RED
Last Line: "SINCE I LOVED YOU LANG."
Subject(s): LANG, ANDREW (1844-1912);

THEN, as yellow, green, and grey,
silver, brown, and red
books in brilliant rocket-spray
burst about his head,

and, as petal after petal
climb the skies, and hang,
"Love me," hear him cry, "a little
since I loved you Lang."
