First Line: I recalled my heart's desire
Last Line: Running to embrace their lances.

I recalled my heart's desire
While the flames of battle darted,
And remembered how love's fire
Burned my body, when we parted.

As the foemen shaft on shaft
Thrusted, I descried her glances
Gleam among them, and I laughed
Running to embrace their lances.
