MYSELF AND I, by
First Line: A small, mean someone
Last Line: Happily.
Subject(s): Self; Women - Employment; Professional Women; Women In Business; Women's Careers

A small, mean someone
That was I
Did hum-drum things,
And wondered why.
In life's set scheme
I could not be
One whose days passed
Happily.

A different someone
That was I
Saw from my window,
Passing by,
A working-woman
Bound to be
Dog-tired, smiling
Happily.
