SPRING SIGNS by LYDIA HAMMOND GALE

First Line: WHEN TRIPPANT SPRING
Last Line: SPRING MIRACLE.
Subject(s): SPRING;

When trippant spring
Rushed through the glade
Her mellowed breeze
Warm greetings gave

To snowy birch.
Those fingers tipped
With crimson are
In sunshine dipped.

Now bloom of fruit
Trees growing near,
Brought promises
Of summer cheer,

And tidings gave
From pinnacle
To emerald stream --
Spring miracle.
