THE POEMS OF COLD MOUNTAIN: 208 by HAN SHAN

First Line: WE DON'T SEE THE DEW FROM THIS MORNING
Last Line: LET THERE BE NOTHING LEFT AT ALL
Subject(s): BUDDHISM; CHINESE LITERATURE; BUDDHA; BUDDHISTS;

We don't see the dew from this morning
in the light of dawn it disappeared
the human body is no different
and Jambu but a temporary home
don't just follow in their wake
let the Poison Three be gone
enlightenment is affliction
let there be nothing left at all
