First Line: TODAY THE WARBLERS UNDULATE
Last Line: OF UP AND DOWN.

Today the warblers undulate
fishlike, floating down,
lifting up with wing beats
while below me in the creek
minnows undulate birdlike,
floating down, lifting up with fin beats.
For a minute I lose the sense
of up and down.
