THE GREAT DIVIDE by LEW SARETT

First Line: WHEN I DRIFT OUT ON THE SILVER SEA
Last Line: WHEN I DRIFT OUT ON THE SILVER SEA.
Subject(s): NIGHT; SEA; BEDTIME; OCEAN;

WHEN I drift out on the Silver sea,
O may it be
A blue night
With a white moon
And a sprinkling of stars in the cedar-tree;
And the silence of God,
And the low call
Of a lone bird,—
When I drift out on the Silver Sea.
